What is the HydraFacial treatment?

If you are looking for more than just your average facial, you are in luck with the HydraFacial treatment. This treatment has a six-step system that effectively removes dead skin cells to reveal fresh new skin that glows and feels rejuvenated.

The treatment provides deep cleansing, exfoliation and hydration to your skin. What’s more, it does this without causing any irritation or affecting the balance of your skin.

One of the key benefits of this treatment is that it is suitable for all skin types. From oily skin to dry and sensitive skin, the HydraFacial is gentle enough to meet your skin’s needs.

With the removal of old dead skin cells, it paves the way for new and healthy skin cells to grow in their place. As a result, you will see more youthful, smooth and radiant skin.

Can HydraFacial treat all my specific skin concerns?

The HydraFacial treatment is one facial that always provides great results. We consider it to be the ultimate skincare treatment because it can address various skin concerns, including:

  •       Acne-prone skin

How do HydraFacial treatments work in Brighton?

Your skincare is personal, which is why your skincare treatments should be too. The great part about HydraFacial treatments is that they can be personalised to your skin.

During your consultation, one of our skin experts will assess your skin and ask you more about what results you are wanting to achieve. This will help them tailor your treatment so that you see a visible improvement in your skin.

The six-step HydraFacial

  1.   Detox

The first step is to improve the circulation in your skin. This starts with a lymphatic drainage massage to help remove any toxins from your skin. It also increases blood flow and oxygen to your skin.

  1.   Cleansing and exfoliation

The second step begins with a deep cleanse of your skin. We follow this by using a vacuum-based device that provides gentle exfoliation and removes dead skin cells. It also delivers a serum directly into your skin. This may contain different actives including lactic acid and botanical extracts.  This will be customised to your skin’s needs.

  1.   Brightening agent

After your pores are unblocked and the old skin cells have gone, we apply a glycolic and salicylic acid solution to the skin. This works by removing any congestion in your pores. This helps to open up your pores and brighten the skin.

  1.   Extraction

The extraction process is more gentle than it sounds. It uses Salicylic acid to help draw out blackheads and any other impurities in your skin.

  1.   Hydration

This step is all about giving your skin the nourishment it needs. We deliver a boost of hydration to your skin through a mix of antioxidants, hyaluronic acid and peptides to stimulate collagen production. By doing this, your skin will feel soft, plump and healthy. This is an important step for targeting fine lines and wrinkles.

  1.   Rejuvenation

The final step uses red and infrared LED light. This helps to soothe and calm your skin and reduce any redness. Again, this step helps to support collagen production and even helps your skin naturally produce vitamin D.

After all six steps, you will see skin that looks fresh, brighter and healthier than before.

How many treatment sessions will I need?

You will start to see results from your first HydraFacial session. However, we do recommend that you have a course of at least three treatments that are spread four weeks apart.

The number of HydraFacial treatments you will need will depend on your skin concerns and skin type. Oily skin or acne-prone skin may need more frequent sessions.

To keep your skin looking healthy, we do advise continuing your HydraFacial treatments. This can be monthly or every other month.

About Brighton

Brighton is a popular seaside resort that is based on the south east coast of England. Despite feeling far from city life, Brighton is still only an hour away from London by train. This makes it a great place to put down roots for families and people who commute to the capital for work.

Did you know that Brighton helped host Eurovision? In 1974, the event was held at the Brighton Dome concert hall, which was the same year that ABBA won Eurovision with ‘Waterloo’. Today, it hosts an annual pride event, which is the UK’s most popular LGBT event.
